This is our bedroom and and furniture before the major overall.
This is the after. While Jamie was away my mom and I did a while you were out on my room and
Keagans room and had a ton of fun doing it.
It was a lot of work redoing all the furniture for a second time but well worth the effort and a lot cheaper than buying new stuff. :)
I don't have a very good picture of what
Keagan's room looked like before. This room has had a lot of kids in it over the years. First it was
Rylan's as you can see below, then it was Stefan's until the girls came and then it has been their room for the last year and half. So we were really excited to do a special room for
Keagan because he has always shared a room.
Keagan loves Star Wars and has a great personality that I really wanted to bring out in his room. He got to go out and pick his bedding and from there I chose the colors for his room and I am so happy with how it turned out.
We were very lucky to get this bed for just $35.00 from
Ikea. It was on sale and was
regularly $349.00. What a great deal.
This is something that I tell my kids all the time and my hope for them is that they will do what they dream of doing.
Keagan was so excited about having his own desk in his room. It has been great to have a quiet place for him to do his homework.
I love the hooks for his sweaters, they are orange dogs bums.

We have been working on
Darien's room for a while knowing that it was going to be his own room. He too has been very excited about getting his own room. This is his before.
Yes there were a lot of holes to fill in but it always looks better when you are painting on a clean slate.
This is the after. I love the blue stripe all the way around. I feel like this is a room that he will be able to grow up in. He is all about the sports so there is a little bit of
everything in his room including skateboarding wheels as the hooks for his sweaters.
The same matching bed. What can I say it was a great deal.

You know you have an almost teenager when you have to have guitars.
Darien has been in guitar lessons sense Sept. and he is doing really well. He loves it.
These are his pride and joy new lacrosse sticks ready for the next season. It was so much fun doing these rooms. I have painted the younger boys room too but I am waiting for some posters to put up in their rooms to finish it off and then I will include some pictures.

I seriously love all the rooms! The furniture turned out so great. I think I might have to get the paint color from you for the master bedroom......painting our room that color has been on my to-do list.
