Waiting
Stefan must be my last because I am not in a very big hurry for him to grow up. We have been really busy just recently with a stomach bug going through the family and Stefan and the girls have had it the worst, so there has has been a lot of laundry being done. Stefan one night threw up on his blankie. His soother and blankie are his most favorite things!!!
He was so desperate to get it back that he sat and waited for it.

Big Boy
We decided that it was time for Rylan to learn to ride a two wheeler with no training wheels this year. He was very hesitant and didn't really want to, so we decided that we would take him to a local park and teach him first on the grass (helps with the fear of falling, this was the way that my sister taught Darien almost 6 years ago, works great). All it took was about 30 min. of trying and then he was riding like a pro.
He was so proud of himself. He is such a funny kid because if he can't get it right the first time he figures there is no point in trying again. There were some tears because he didn't want to do it but after that he was was all smiles.
These pictures are from the next morning, he just couldn't wait to get outside to ride his bike.
The take off. Yes, his bike is purple and pink, it was a hand-me down from his best friend (girl) and it is the perfect size for learning to ride.

I Wish
My boys love to play and pretend. Here they are baking and making dinner.
All I can say is "I wish" . LOL I wish that they were old enough to make dinner themselves. They do help out but one day they will do it on their own. LOL I am sure that the water in the pots is very good but a little bit tasteless. :)
I am not so sure about Stefan being in charge of doing the dishes. LOL I am pretty sure that there was more water on the floor than in the sink. But at least they had fun. See just so everyone knows my house is full of boys fighting or pretending to be in the army all the time. There a lot of moments like this when they just really use their imaginations for something else. So cute!!!

No Snow
Do you see what I see.... Yes, we came home to no snow. That was so exciting for my kids. Let the basket ball games and fun outside begin.
The only down side is that we get those spring storms so two days after this picture was taken we ended up with snow on the ground again but at least it doesn't last as long. Ahhh the joys....

Jouney Home
I just had to add this picture and let you know that our journey home was uneventful, thankfully enough. I even gave driving a try and it was good. Jamie makes it look effortless and it really isn't too bad but the steering is a little different. I drove for the last 2 hours of the journey. The boys were amazing and all in all it was a great trip and I can't wait for our next adventure. :)

Hiking and Exploring!!!
This is were our downhill journey begins. LOL This was a great hike that we went on while visiting my brother. The only thing was that it was down hill all the way. My only thought was that we would have to hike 2.2 km uphill to get back to the cars. LOL
Mom even came on the adventure with us. She did great and managed to make it back to the cars without being carried, unlike Stefan. LOL
The treasure was at the bottom of the hill, the ocean. I just doesnt' get any better for my kids.
I love this picture of my nephew. It is great because all the boys get a long so well.
Stefan is our hesitant one. He is scared of anything that moves. I hope that he out grows it because you can't be a part of this family be afraid of anything because the boys just won't have it. (this applies the mom who is scared to death of spiders LOL) I am sure that it is because of his age but we were pretty excited when he was willing to hold the star fish. He was pretty proud of himself also.
Keagan has no fear. He will hold anything. He is the only one of the boys that will chase every crab he sees until he can catch it and hold it.
I loved this picture. Just a little piece of heaven watching my boys all together. Love the father and son pose.
The first star fish that Rylan was able to catch on his own. He was pretty proud of himself.
What more can I say. It was freezing outside and the water was even colder but that didn't stop the boys from reaching in as far as they could to get that next star fish. Boys will be boys!!!
Still, with no shirt but so very happy.
All the boys doing their exploring. I am pretty sure that we explored the shore line for about 2 hours just working our way along. The only reason why they finally agreed to go was because they started getting hungry.
They are so cute with their tales made from evergreeen trees. They pretty much ran all the way back to the cars. I was exhausted by the time we got back. Stefan was an all star and walked all the way back up the huge hill. I can't tell you how much I love these days with my kids. Being outside in nature, exploring, and enjoying the beauty it just the best.
Egg Hunting X 2
The boys got an over load of candy this year. They were lucky enough to have two easter hunts. The first one was with Jamie's family at his moms house.
The kids were all very excited when they woke up. It is so cute because Stefan is really starting to understand all these holidays and it is so much fun.
The second hunt was at my brothers house on Vancouver Island. We were able to go over with my mom for the night. They kids love getting together with their cousin.
