Halloween 2011

Here are the boys getting ready for the Halloween parade at the school. Stefan and Christopher were very excited to be able to wear their costumes all day.
As soon as Stefan saw this costume he new that he wanted to be a ninja. He is even saying that when he grows up he wants to be a ninja. LOL So one day we might have a doctor, physiotherapist, geologist and a ninja. LOL

My fune little group of trick-or-treaters. Darien the ghost, Keagan the grandma, Rylan the other ninja and Stefan.

This costume always cracks me up. Boys just love to dress like girls.

Darien even made his own costume.

I just love watching the kids grow up and choose their costumes.

This year was the first year that Darien has been able to go trick or treating with his friends. Of course they had to stay in our area and check in every so often but they had a great time and were home eating their candy and playing video games by 8:00, so I would have to say it was a success. :)

There is never a dull moment when it comes to halloween.

Basketball Star

Keagan is in basketball this year too. And he is doing great!!! He is really enjoying it and I like learning a new sport. These are some pictures from one of his games. He scored on this shot. :)
Going for his lay up.

Making another great shot. I love that he is doing a sport that is not something that Darien has done and doing well at it. Each of our boys are so different and we want them to do well in what they want. I can just see him in the future playing when he is older and it is so exciting. I love being the mom to all boys. :)

Happy Birthday Ry Guy

This was the day that we had our third boy 7 years ago. He is such a blessing in our lives. Rylan is so happy, loving, caring, sensitive, out going, and a little emotional. He cries when other people cry, laughs like he just heard the funniest thing in the world and loves everyone that he meets. I love this boys so much. We had Ry Ry put on the cake because that was what Stefan called him for the longest time. LOL
Rylan is everyones friend and boy are we lucky to have him. He is so smart and works hard at school and has a passion for speaking french.

The sweet guy smile will win over many hearts I am sure. LOL For his choice of birthday dinner is was spaghetti and home made garlic bread.

I love this picture. LOL

And to finish it off there is our favorite cake from Safeway. LOL Happy Birthday to our number 3 son, the best Rylan in the whole world. We love you.

Our Sweet P

Darien had a Halloween party for Air Cadets and because this is my least favorite holiday so I am not very creative when it comes to costumes but I was pretty impressed with this costume that we pulled together about an hour before he was having to leave. He is a "Sweet P". LOL
Yes, not all the candy came back by the end of the night there were only 2 boxes on the whole sweater. LOL

Just like his dad he has to do the serious face for most of the pictures. He had a great night and they enjoyed his costume. Now onto the real costume for Halloween. Oh Joy ;)

Rylan Skating

So here is Rylan doing his day of skating. He was pretty nervous the first couple of time but by the last skating day he was doing great.
The skating star. :)

The crazy boys having fun running around the arena. LOL A good way to burn up some energy.

It is a good thing that I brought some water for Rylan because he was so thirsty while skating. I love being able to be with my kids during the day and to see what they are doing. What a blessing.

Fantasy Land Fun

We had so much fun this night. It isn't very often that we go to West Edmonton Mall to go on the rides because it is so expensive, but tonight it was free and it was great!!! Because of Jamies accident we bought a new VW and they had a customer appreciation night and rented out the whole ride area and we got to go on every ride for free as much as we wanted.
Rylan was so excited to be able to go on the swing ride finally. And he went on a lot.
Stefan and I took the easy rides but we did have a great time on this roller coaster.

All the bigger boys (including Keagan's friend) going on the swings.

I am pretty sure that Rylan and Stefan went on this ride about 6 times in a row. So funny they just kept changing vehicles. This was a great way to spend a Saturday night. We even brought out own snacks and used coupons for drinks so it was super cheap. Love It. LOL

Family Pictures 2011

I am so happy with how our family pictures turned out this year. We tried someone new and we were very impressed. This one is my favorite or our family.
It can be a little challenging trying to arrange a family of six. LOL

Darien 12 years.

Keagan 9 years.

Rylan 6 years. (soon to be 7 and yes toothless. We thought about having her photo shop in a tooth but really what fun would that be. This is who he was at this time and we love it. :)

Stefan 4 years.

My boys and boy do I love them!!!

I love their half moon eyes. LOL They were all having a laughing fit and so that picture is perfect. :)

The love of my life. Jamie is by best friend. I am so blessed.

Beginers at Basketball

Rylan and Stefan were so excited to start basketball this year. They don't play any games just do a lot of practicing. Rylan is focused on dribbling around his leg. LOL
Stefan is the smallest one there but such a great listener.

Rylan taking his shot on net and even managed to get the ball in.

Practicing their shots and form.

Stefan gets a little frustrated that he can't get his ball in the net but he doesn't want any help. LOL

The four amigos. These four are all friends and have a great time every Friday night practicing together. I love basketball because it doesn't mean sitting in a cold arena or being outside in our cold Alberta winters. So much fun. :)

Keagan Skating Time

As they do every year the kids get to go skating with their school. My boys aren't the best skaters because we are not hockey plays but they have a great time anyway. Keagan is improving every time he goes on the ice.
Stefan and Mr. C (a little boy that I take care of three days a week).

The close up of our Keagan. I really love being able to go and watch the kids skate. Stefan and Mr. C like being able to run around the rink and burn off some of their energy. LOL

Ontario Memories

Back in Sept. Jamie's grandpa passed away. It was a very sad time but also happy because he was finally with Grandma who he has missed for the last two years. They didn't do a funeral as were Grandpa's wishes but instead gathered as a family for an internment. Jamie and Keagan headed back to Ontario for this special time.
It was a very simple ceremony and all the family really enjoyed it.

The flowers look beautiful.

The boys had a really good visit with the family. Of course you can't go to visit with out going to Mackies. David, Tyler and Aunt Teddi.

Keagan hanging out with his new friend.

A little windy standing in front of the Great Lakes.

The last time Keagan stood in front of this sign he was only 3 so it is amazing to see how much he has grown.

Getting ready to get lost in the corn maze.

This was also for memories sake. He sat in one of these wagons the last time he went too. LOL

Keagan really excited to be able to go to Niagara Falls for the first time. Thankfully they had a little bit of sun this day. The falls are so amazing.

I am not sure how comfortable I am looking at this picture. It is a very big drop.

Grandpa Penni, Uncle Tyler, Aunt Chris and cousin Kevin all joined in for the day.

Getting ready to go behind the falls.

It was a little bit wet.

And windy.

All that Keagan said about this was that it was "crazy loud" :)

The brothers and son. :)

This ship has been here for a long time.

Everyone enjoys throwing rocks in the water. :)

The whole crew int he rental. They had a great day and a great trip remembering Great Grandpa and Great Grandma. They will be missed but they are together again and in a better place.
