Stanley Park Train
This is another one of my favorite childhood memories. We used to go to Stanley Park Christmas Eve but instead we went New Years Eve. There are a lot more lights now than there were when I was little.
There was so much to look at.
Mom and I enjoying our roasted chestnuts together.
We made sure that all the boys tried them. But no one enjoyed them as much as mom and I. LOL And that was just fine with us.
I am pretty sure that Rylan spat his out after trying a little bite.
Then it was off to play while we waited for out time on the train. Of course the play included sticks and the forest.
Again do you know that you can break a stick on a tree? LOL
Stefan enjoying his time.
I love play time in the forest.
Then it was off to play by the spray park. Of course it was not on but there is so much you can do there. I love, love, love this picture.

Crescent Beach Fun
We had such a great time on the Island but it was time to head back to the mainland. We were there for a few days when the weather once again cleared. It was chilly but we decided that we would head to Crescent Beach. This was one of my favorite places to go when I was a little girl. I love this picture of my mom.
It was a very windy day and the boys had fun jumping the waves.

Christmas Morning
Good morning to everyone on this wonderful Christmas Morning. Thankfully all the kids were good and weren't up at the crack of dawn. LOL This was the scene as soon as they were up.
As is tradition the family picture in front of the tree. It took us a couple of times to get the camera set up and everyone set but it was worth it.
Me and my boys. This will be the last time we spend Christmas away from daddy. We sure missed him and it wasn't the same without him.
Rylan opening up his presents.
Darien wearing his new rabbit lined winter hat. A must have for our cold winters.
Stefan looking at his stash.
What more could Keagan ask for. LOL
Merry Christmas Carl and Sue.
Joy working hard in the kitchen. We were fed well while we were there.
This is my favorite way to eat. Have it all set out and just munch all day long. (Probably not the best for you but definitely tastes the best. LOL)
Stefan thought it would be funny to sit in the box full of all the wrapping paper.
Our beautiful Christmas dinner. It was wonderful.
All the kids getting ready to pull their Christmas crackers.
Of course you have to wear your hat. LOL
The "adult" table. LOL Wearing our awesome hats. This was such a wonderful Christmas day. I was a little sad that the weather wasn't a better but we still had a great time. It was the first time in many many years that I have been with by brother for Christmas. I think it has been about 10 years. So it was great to be together. Hopefully next year we will be able to have David and his family with us too. Merry Christmas Everyone.

Christmas Eve
For the rest of our time in BC we were able to head over to Vancouver Island to spend the holidays with by brother and his family. We had such a wonderful time. Here we are just relaxing for the evening.
As is tradition we have to open up our pajamas Christmas Eve.
I think everyone thought that their pajamas were a little bit too big we have managed to grow into them. LOL

Christmas Part One
This year we were able to spend Christmas out in BC. It was a little difficult because Jamie had to work during Christmas so he was only able to drive out with us and stay for a couple of days. He then flu home. We did manage to do the gift opening with Jamie's side of the family. Here are all the cousins together itching to open their gifts.
Jamie's mom has always made a Christmas stocking for all the grand kids so it was wonderful to take a picture with them all. They are the most beautiful cross stitched stockings.
