This was a very busy couple of days. We managed to get to big trips into two days. Yesterday was Edinburgh and today was York. Again one of the must go to places whenever I go to England. We were there quit early so it wasn't very busy to start off with which was nice.
The Shambles the street made famous from the Harry Potter move when he goes to get his wand.
Of course it wouldn't be a trip to York without breakfast at Betty's. So yummy!!!
These three are so cute. I just loved this picture. We actually thought that this man was painting on Ms. C's had. LOL
Standing outside the York Minster.
Waiting their turn to head up to the top of the minster.
This was their view part way up.
Crossing over the roof to go to the next set of stairs.
Their view from the very top. There are a lot of stairs. LOLThey had to take a little breather at the top. :)
Stefan sadly was too small to go. But next time for sure.
Coming down you do get a little bit dizzy going around and around.
After we went to the most amazing train museum. It was spectacular.
All of the children liked being able to get up close to the trains.
I really enjoyed the small train ride that we all had.I have never seen so many trains before.
These trains were all sizes and age.
I thought that this was really neat because they were able to go underneath a train and see how it works.
We took a little shuttle back to our cars and there were some very tired people on it.
We had done a lot of walking. LOL
Their unsynchronized jump at the end of the day. LOL
That night we were able to go out for dinner with my Auntie Margret, Uncle Jim and Grandma.
Afterwards it was time to celebrate Darien's 13th birthday. He was so excited to receive a new scooter specially order while we were in England. Happy Birthday Darien.
