Blog Update
Jamie informed me the other day that as he was reading my blog he sees a lot of spelling mistakes and other things and I have to apologize for this. As you can see I am not the best person at staying up to date with my blog, so when I have an evening free I will update until my eyes are blurry and because I am doing so many I don't really take the time to go back and re read them before posting. So all I can say is sorry for my poor English skills. I appreciate all of you that read my blog and please just love me for who I am and not for my poor grammar. :)

Halloween 2010
This was the church Halloween Party that we went to. Darien the special agent, Keagan the clown, Rylan the vampire, and Stefan the pirate. The great thing about have all boys is that the costumes get used a lot. LOL
They had all kinds of activities for the kids to do before going and participating in the trunk or treat. Keagan trying to get his donut. LOL
Stefan got a little frustrated and ended up using his hands. "Just give me the donut". LOL
My little pirate getting ready to go to his school Halloween Party. He was so excited. He didn't really enjoy having the make up put on but he sure was cute.
For school Darien decided to be a grandma. He was so funny. He loves to be the comedian at school and he accomplished that. LOL
Keagan the clown. I wish that I was better at doing makeup but you get what you get. LOL He enjoyed this costume this year.

Sleeping Beauties
I love these kinds of pictures. Jamie has been working a lot of midnight shifts so during the day he tends to get a little tired. It isn't very often that he lays down for a rest but this was just one of those days. What was so cute that Stefan was very tired and so the two of them had a cat nap. So cute!!!
Stefan doesn't nap very often anymore. If we are out and about then he will usually grab a quick nap in the car but it isn't very often that it happens at home. But what a great moment to capture on film. :) I love these boys.

Happy Birthday Ry Guy
What more can I say this Rylan is such a great kid and a wonderful part of our family. He truly has the best personality and brings such a special light to our family. This picture says it all, as cute as he is, is how cute his personality is. :)
It is hard to believe that he is 6 years old already. I have no idea where the time has gone. I have loved every min. of it. For his birthday dinner he had his favorite spaghetti and home made garlic bread.

Field Trip
I love these days when I get to go on field trips with my boys. Today I was able to go with Keagan to the museum to study rocks and minerals. I love this picture because the look of boredom on his face was just for me. LOL
They got to different stations and learn so many different things. It was a really good field trip.

Weekend Away
Again, with all the wonderful weather we decided that when the kids had a Fri. off of school that we would get a way for a long weekend. So we made our way to Canmore and boy are we glad that we did. It ended up being such a great weekend. We got there Fri. morning and after some time exploring the hotel we were off for a hike along the Grassy Lake trail. It was beautiful.
Of course Darien was still on crutches and not able to put any wait on his foot but he was a real trooper. He rode in our cross country stroller for part of the up hill climb but soon got tired of it. He did end up sitting in it for the ride down because he was so tired. And at some points it was so steep that it took both Jamie and I to hold onto it so that he wouldn't go barreling down the mountain. LOL
He was so desperate to explore with the other boys so out he got and crutched all the way to the top of the mountain. It was very impressive. The boys were pretty excited when they found this "fort"
The pictures don't really do it justice in showing how steep the incline was. I love this picture of Rylan.
When we got to the top there were these amazing lakes. The water was so beautiful. We were all very excited.
My boys!!! Darien was pooped when he got to the top.
We found a cave that they had fun exploring. There are so many plans for the next time about what we need to take with us (flashlights and no crutches LOL).
This was by far one of the nicest hotels that we have stay at. It was all newly renovated with two bedrooms, a kitchen and the most amazing showers/bathtubs. LOL
Don't worry they are wearing their bathing suits. This is the boys trying to figure out all the different buttons for the shower. They loved the lighting, jets, radio, steam room, sauna and all the other extras that these showers had. LOL This was the cleanest that I think my kids have ever been but you would be too if you were having a shower 4 times a day. LOL
Getting ready for bed. So cute.
Swimming time. As usual we have to stay were there is a pool or how else do we burn up all our energy. LOL
Playing ball.
The next day was spent walking along the river.
And of course throwing rocks. I love the mountain in the back round.
The scenery was amazing. I was so happy that we were able to go to Canmore for the weekend. I have really missed having the mountains close by and often thought that it would be nice to move back to BC but after this weekend and seeing that we can do weekend trips that aren't too far it has renewed my desire for living were we do. We enjoy a lot of extras because we live here and I wouldn't trade that for anything.
The face in Canmore. So funny. In the winter time he gets to wear a toque. :)
