Brother Time

I had to take a picture of Keagan and Stefan. It is just one of the quiet times when they are enjoying one another watching a movie on the computer. So cute.
So deep in consentration and yet Stefan still managed a half smile when he saw the camera out of the corner of his eye. LOL Special moments that I don't want to forget.

Wideup/Birthday Party

This year for we were able to have a great wide up party for Darien's lacrosse team. It has been great getting to know so many people over the years in lacrosse, they are a great/fun group of people.
This year they were kind enough to let us use it has a time to celebrate Stefan's birthday and he was so excited to see so many people at his party. LOL It is great because really he has spent a lot of time with all these people and kids for the the last three years coming to games and practices for lacrosse.
Like I said before I often feel badly for him having his birthday at such a busy time of the year but really for him all that really matters is that he got to have a party with cake and people singing to him. It really is the simple things when you are so little.
One day he will want something different. As long as I always get a cute picture of him blowing out his candles then I am happy. LOL
In true Brown fashion he really only likes the sweet stuff, mmmm icing.
To end off the day there was a great game of field lacrosse played. It was a great afternoon with some really fun people.

Happy Birthday Stefan

My baby is THREE. Seriously, where has the time gone. I can not believe that the last three years have gone by so quickly and that he is turning into a little boy so quickly. He will always be my baby though no matter what.
Stefan has been such a joy. He has the best personality and acts like life is one big party or joke. Which sometimes can be really frustrating because he is so easy going that when he is getting in trouble he thinks it is such a joke that often you will hear him giggle as he is being reprimanded. So frustrating and yet so cute at the same time. As if he is thinking you can't really be that mad about something so little. LOL
I often feel like he got the short end of the stick being born so close to the craziness of the end of the school year but we always try to have a good time.
Really how cute is this kid. LOL There is nothing that I love more than his curly blond hair. The curls are the one thing that I can lay claim to as they are the exact same as my dads when he was a little boy.
He is such a typical three year old. He was so excited to turn three. He is such a simple child, all that really matters to Stefan at this time in life are his soother and blankie and snacks. Those are the three things that he asks for every day. LOL
The older boys are always eager to help out and help him play with his toys.f LOL This has been the best three years with Stefan and he truly completed our family. There is nothing that brings me greater joy that my children and watching them grow. I know that I say it all the time but as much as I enjoy the little moments right now, I can't wait to see what the future holds for each of my children. I guess that it part of the joy in being a parent. Love You Stefan

Childrens Festival

Every year the kindergarten class and their siblings get together for a children's festival for their last day of school. It is a fun day planned and organized by the parents and includes snacks which as you can see if Stefan's favorite station. LOL
Then they have other work stations that they rotate through to make different crafts and play some games. It was a great morning. They are having fun here making their binoculars.
The gym was a real crowd pleaser. Even the girls got in on the action.
The boys could not get enough of the petting zoo station. We had to take a couple of trips back to it.
Stefan had to hold ever rabbit he could. It was so cute.
The girls were happy to watch. I am sure they would have loved to touch some of the animals but it was easier to have them "look don't touch" LOL
This really was a great year and it was a great way to finish it off. I can't believe that Rylan is starting grade one next year. Really were does the time go.

Graduation Day!!!

This is the cutest thing. When you have a group of 5 year olds walking in to the "graduation song" wearing their special hats. Every year they have a graduation ceremony for the kindergarten class. They are all so cute. This is Rylan excepting his certificate from his teacher. He was so excited.
I can't wait to compare pictures of when he graduates from high school. It will be awesome to see his expression on his face that day. LOL I don't know if it can get any better than this.
Rylan has a "special friend" that he loves. This is the girl that he says he will one day marry. She is the cutest thing and obviously he has no issues with her being taller than him. LOL He was adamant that he had to buy her flowers for the end of the school year. He went and got all his money (which included about $3.00, one chuckee cheese coin, a pound, and some other foreign money) and gave it to me so that he could get he some flowers. It was so cute. She gave him a special Lego book. They even sit together on the bus on the way home. So cute.
I love this little boy. He has the best personality and is so out going (sometimes this is a little worrying as he will talk to anyone) but it is also a great thing. He will meet and great with anyone. I am so proud of him and can't wait to see what the future holds for him. He really is the greatest joy. Out sweet Stefan had to get in on the picture action too. LOL
Rylan with his wonderful teacher. This year Rylan had a great teacher. He really enjoyed his time at school and it looking forward to next year.
Stefan can't wait to start school. He once again had to have the picture taken. Too funny.

Field Trip

I love it when I am able to go on field trips with the kids classes and I try to make sure that I go on one with each child each year. I can often be very challenging as we have a few extras lol but it is always so much fun. This is one of the rare times that I remembered my camera. I love the fact that Darien still likes it when I come with him. This time we went to Fort Edmonton. This is one of our favorite places. Right at the beginning they got to do some exploring in a pond and found all kinds of interesting creatures.

We had to sit through some presentations and I thought that it was so cute that Darien sat beside the girl that he likes. Yes, we are at this stage in life and I think that it is kind of cute because it is so innocent still.

They have some pretty neat rides at the park so we took the chance to go on a few.

I am so thankful for the time that I have to be with my kids. I know that one day they won't want me there or the parent attended field trips will end so for now I will take every opportunity I can.

School Project

This year Keagan got to do an insect project and he choose to do his on wasps. He was so happy when he found a dead wasp on the bus after school one day. So the challenge was to make the nest. It was a lot of fun but I had no idea that my kids don't like the feeling of paper mache. LOL
We were very happy with the end result and so was his teacher. He had to make a poster and do a five min. speech. I really enjoy doing these kinds of projects with my kids.
