Lacrosse Fun

Rylan was such a little Super Star for lacrosse this year. He once again really enjoyed it. It was so great to see him out there with Jamie as his coach and they had a really good time.

I am sure that Jamie is glad that the season is over. It can be a lot of working trying to keep nine 5 to 7 year old entertained and working hard for 1 1/2 hours twice a week but he did a great job. :)

Last Day of Playschool

Stefan really enjoyed play school this year. He had some wonderful teachers and made some great friends. Here are some pictures of his year end party.

Stefan has the nicest teachers it is hard to believe that that was our sixth year of having children at that playschool at that Teacher Diane (on the right) has been there to see all of our kids go through. Sad and yet happy Stefan will not be going there next year as we go him into a really good program at the Elementary school.

The three musketeers. These three were the best of friends and still are. We are so glad that they had each other. They are going to miss one another next year but at least this year was great. What made it even more special as that Grandpa as albe to be there. What a great memory. Really how many Great Grandpa's get to see their great grandsons preschool graduation. So special.

The Injury

This is were Darien ended up after trying to let his knee recover. He was playing lacrosse in school a couple of weeks ago and hyper extended his knee and tore some of the ligaments in his knee. We were hoping that they would heal on their own but unfortunately it didn't and so we are having to go to physiotherapy once a week. He is making progress and he will be all go really soon but it has really slowed him down. He has been out of rugby since it happened so he is a little bored right now with no sports to play. That is what happens when you play hard like Darien. :)

The Generations

After his trip to Ontario Jamie was able to bring Great Grandpa home with him.

Here are the three generations enjoying a lacrosse game. We never would have thought that Great Grandpa would be here to see a game. It was so great to see how good Grandpa was with the boys and encouraging them in their games. It was the small little taps on their backs or little shows of affection that were so cute.

Swimming Fun in Ontario

Second cousins swimming and having a great time.

The boys were so happy to spend the afternoon at their cousins house for some fun swimming and to cool off from their heat wave. Stefan and Darien are having a cannon ball competition. :)

More Family Fun in Ontario

Aunt Chris is working her magic. LOL Stefan hit his head with his cousins and ended up with a huge goose egg. So Aunt Chris is trying to make it go down with her magic knife. LOL

Uncle Gary brought out big red so the boys could go for a ride.

And they drove it all the way to Mackies. It serves the best french fries and drinks.

I am pretty sure that we have a picture of each of the boys riding on this ride. It seems like it just keeps going. LOL

I am thinking that Darien is getting to be a little big but he will try. LOL

Aunt Chris with her son Kevin and the boys by Lake Superior.

The famous Uncle Gary. Rylan asks on a regular basis when he is coming for a visit. :) So cute.

Heading back to "The Fish Farm"

Stefan took a little nap on the way home in the back of the cab. Really are we red necks or what LOL

This is one of my favorite parts of going back to Ontario to visit and it is the fact that it is so wonderful to sit around with a great bonfire and just enjoy one anothers company. It was be so nice to live closer but then I don't think we would appreciate it as much.

Everyone is enjoying their s'mores.

And of course it wouldn't be a trip without Darien getting do some driving on the farm. LOL

I am pretty sure that this is the only reason why he likes to go.

I am so thankful for Jamie's family. They are all so great and love our children. Our kids look forward to visiting and I can understand why. I can't wait for it to by my turn again.

Thank you to Aunt Kris and Uncle Bob for taking such great care of my boys. Can't wait to see everyone in two year. :)

On their way home. They were missed but I know for sure that they had a wonderful time. They just can't wait for their next father son trip. :)

Parade Day

We are so lucky to live in a town that has a day to celebrate farmers. They have so many fun activities for the weekend of Farmers Day. This was a huge slip and slide that they had by our library. They didn't go to quickly but they still enjoyed it.
The boys each spent some of their money on these bubble guns. They really enjoyed shooting them at the parade.

I was a little bit scared but survived all the bubble attacks. LOL

It is pretty cool to say that you know the Mayors wife and even better when you can call out to her and she knows you. This is Keagan's teacher and she is married to the Mayor. It was really neat to see them in our parade.

I love these boys so much and I am thankful for the joy that they bring into my life. This was a great weekend together.
