Wiammae Cannon

One of the place we really wanted to visit was Wiammae Cannon and it was breath taking and beautiful.
The pictures do not do it justice.
It is like the grand canyon but Hawaii style.
Graham eating his coconut.
This was amazing.
We stopped at so many different places to see the view.
Graham still with his coconut. LOL
That was the water fall that we were going to hike to.
We could not get enough of the views.
This was our hike.
It was hot and dusty be we loved it.
A little nerve racking as it was a straight drop.
The wind has carved out the rock formations.
We made it to the top of the water fall
Some people were swimming but we just decided to look.
The very top of the falls.
Can't get any closer than this.
Our picnic lunch.
A little glimpse at the view under the clouds.
A water spout that we enjoyed watching.
The sound that it would make before it blew was so loud and grumbly.  A great show.

Hawaii 2014

We are so blessed to be able to have some time away with our friends.  This time it was chance to explore Kauai.  We stayed in the most amazing condo right on the ocean.  The views were spectacular.
Right below our belcony was the ocean and at any given moment there would be at least 4-6 huge turtles.
We are ready for some fun in the sun and some relaxation time.
Our condo for 5 days.
It was so clean and user friendly.  The only down side was that it was so warm with no ac but fans were an easy fix for that.
This island was so amazingly beautiful.  There is a reason why it is called the garden island.
It is what what I envision Hawaii to look like.
This was one of our friendly turtles.
They just seem to float effortlessly in the water.
And there was so many of them.  I have never seen so many.
I could sit and listen to the ocean all day long.
The sunsets were beautiful.
Our traveling companions.  We feel it is our duty to explore a place first as couples only before we bring our kids.  At least that is our excuse.  LOL
It is so wonderful to have friends to share these times with.
After only one day we have decided that we love this island and can't wait to bring the kids back.
The crashing waves.

Cadet Brown #2

Here we go another cadet is in our home. Keagan has decided to join.
He is so handsome.
I love a man in uniform.
As a side note.  Keagan decided not to stay with cadets. His love for basketball out weighed his desire to be in cadets and that is just fine with us.  You have to do what you love.

First Day of School 2014

Here we go another school year is beginning. This year three of the boys will be in the same school.  We have had a new school open up here in town and I am so happy to have them all together.  Darien is still at the high school.
Keagan is 12 and starting grade 7
Oh man I am going to have to keep a close eye on this good looking boy.
Rylan is 9 and starting grade 4.
That smile can melt anyones heart.
Stefan is 7 and starting grade 2.
My baby isn't a baby any more.
Darien as usual the goof.  15 and starting grade 10.
Hard to believe that he only has two more years left of school after this.
So hard to get a serious picture of him.  LOL
He is so big.
My boys.
I can't get enough of them.
The tradition continues.  You have to stand by the tree.
So in love with each of these boys.
Even with all the challenges that we have with each of them.
It is all about growing and learning for each of us.
Stefan let me take a picture of him in his classroom.
So did Rylan but that was it.  There was no way anyone else would let me.  LOL  Have a great year boys.
Rylan sitting with his friend.
