Outside Fun

It is my most favorite time of the year.  SPRING!!!  We have been inside for what seems like a very long time and there is nothing better than being able to be outside with shorts and bear feet.  Mr. K and Keagan enjoying the hammock.  So precious.

Congratulations Darien!!!

This was a very exciting day for us.  Darien had applied for a scholarship through cadets.  He had just missed it but was on a waiting list.  We got a call and email today to let us know that he would be going.  So we were trying to think of some fun way to tell him.  We bought him a cake, some sparkling apple juice and plane.

When he opened his eyes he had no idea what was going on  LOL

But once we told him you can see how happy he was

Way to go son.  You deserve this.  I am a little bit nervous as it means he will be living on base in Northern Manitoba for three weeks.  That seems like a very long time to this Mommy.

I am sure he will be great.

Cadets

Darien once again was in Air Cadets.  Here they are practicing for their final parade.  But also receiving some new badges.

They are a good looking group of boys.  They are the flag bearers.

Crazy Hair Day

Here we are again with crazy hair day.  We had a hard time deciding what to do when you have short hair for boys.

Rylan went with silver and grey.

Stefan went a little bit more over the top.  there was a multitude of colors going on here.  LOL

It took a good week for the color to come out of his hair.  LOL

Keagan Parliment Building

I love being able to go with my kids on their field trips.  This time it was to the Legislature Building with Keagan and his class. 

Here they are pretending to try and put forward some new laws.

Bread Lady

Jamie got to go and help out in Stefan's class today.  I was working and hate missing out but at least I was at the same school so I was able to go and get this cute picture.  They were learning all about bread with the Bread Lady.  She teaches them everything they need to know from the very beginning about wheat to the point of baking.  So much fun.

Rylan Basketball

Rylan did spring league basketball also this year.  Because there wasn't enough his age they combined the girls and boys teams.

They were all fairly new to the game but they played their hearts out.

They all made huge improvements over the season.

But had a great time.  Their coach was so great and taught them so much.  They didn't care whether they won or lost but had so much fun doing it.  :)
