Track Meet
While Keagan and Jamie were gone Darien participated in another track meet. It was a huge meet and a little over whelming but great. This is Darien trying to stay focussed.
Stefan doing some exploring while we wait for Darien to run.
This was a pretty big race for Darien. There were a lot of kids at this meet and he ran against about 50 other kids and he did great. He managed to come in second. He was in third but on the final straight away he managed to pull ahead. I was so proud of him.

First Cadet Camp/Shoe Shining
I had to take a picture of father and son working hard to get Darien's boots to just the right shine. LOL Jamie totally remembers shining his boots when he was in cadets. LOL
I am happy to say that Darien went to his first ever cadet camp and he made it back in one piece. LOL And boy did he have fun. All the activities that they did were right up his alley and loved ever minute of it. I am so glad the he is able to have these experiences and the best part is it is all free. ;) I am sure that there will be many more camps and he can't wait for them. What I found to be the funniest thing is that his bag came back packed the same way as it went (he packed it all himself). That means that he never changed any of his clothes. LOL Boys what can I say, that is why they need their mom. LOL

First Day of Playschool
So when Stefan was standing with everyone for the first day of school pictures that wasn't really his first day. He had to wait an agonizing 19 days before he started school and that was very difficult. So when the day finally came he was so excited.
It is actually really nice because his preschool is located at the same school at Rylan and Keagan so we are enjoying being able to see them three days a week at lunch time after Stefan is finished school. So much fun.

Cross Country Season
Darien and Keagan have both joined a track club and they are loving it. It is a great group of kids with some amazing coaches. It has been great to see them work hard at training and to see the improvement in them. Here is Keagan as his first meet.
Coming in to the final stretch.

The Big Apple!!!
New York City, fun. Rylan was so excited that it was his turn for the daddy son trip and couldn't wait to get to New York. Taking the tour on the double decker bus. The best way to see New York.
Daddy and Rylan taking the ride.
In front of the many statues that you can find around New York.
Of course Rylan would want his picture taken with the guy. LOL
The best and cheapest way to see the Statue of Liberty. The Staten Island Ferry. LOL
Rylan was really happy to see the Brooklyn Bridge. He has seen it so many times in different movies. He can tell you all the history about it.
Having some down time. There is a lot of walking when you go to New York and he got pretty tired.
Off to see their Broadway show Spiderman.
Heading to China town.
Enjoying some free time in Central Park.
The street market that Jamie loves to go to whenever he is there.
This was their sweet ride to their next hotel. Sadly, it didn't stay looking that nice for long as Rylan puked in the limo right after this picture was taken. He wasn't feeling very well and had a really bad cough that normally we would give him an inhaler for but Jamie didn't take it with him. The next day they were getting ready to board the plan when Rylan puked again and of course they wouldn't let him board. Jamie ended up having to take him to the hospital. Apparently they were amazing at the hospital and they discovered that he was having a major asthma attack and the reason why he was puking was because his airway was closed so much. They treated him and he was feeling much better. Thank goodness for insurance, they paid for their flight changes, hotel and hospital fees. They had a wonderful trip and Rylan came home a very happy little boy. So many wonderful memories for my boys.
Exploring DC
In front of the White House. Rylan wanted to go in so bad. LOL
The Washington Memorial.
