Brotherly Love

I am sure you think our life is all perfect and our children are perfect but don't be fooled.  LOL  We have normal kids that fight and bicker.  I like to think that we are pretty lucky in that it isn't all the time but there are those times when I wonder if we will all survive.  LOL  So I thought I would share with you some of the great memories of being a mother to all boys.  Here we have Keagan, he is usually pretty level and doesn't get too upset about things but there was this time when he and Darien had a whopper of a fight and the end result was Darien with some scratches and Keagan with a pretty swollen nose.
I can laugh at these pictures now but at the time, if I hadn't kept my cool heads would have rolled.  LOL
Looking good Keagan.
Here we have Rylan.  This was not in the same time frame more so just the same kind of story this is why they are posted together.  Rylan and Keagan had a little bit of an argument.  This time Keagan ended up with the scratches and Rylan ended up with a fat lip.
Please now that we don't except this type of behavior and that there was punishment for those involved.  I am so thankful that this isn't an everyday occurrence and that for the most part our boys get along and love one another.
Some lessons are learned the hard way.  :(

Harlem Globetrotters

I was so excited to be able to go with Keagan for his night with the Globetrotters.  We had a great time and great seats.
He was so happy to get a ball and jersey.
Happy Birthday Keagan.  I love you.

Rugby In Edmonton

There is nothing I love more than watching my boys play sports.  But can I just say it isn't so much fun watching them when it is so cold outside.  This is the first year that Darien is playing rugby on his school team and it was great to watch but boy was it cold.
I thought Darien looked good out there and he had some great tackles.
He has the speed for it but boy it sure is a rough sport.
There is a lot of running and big hits.
Yes that is Darien at the bottom of the pile
You wouldn't know that I was freezing the whole time.  LOL

The New Toy

So it has always been Jamie's dream to one day own a plane.  Well here it is.  He bought this beauty with a co worker and they are so happy with it.  They had to fly to Merrit BC to pick it up.  The spent the day there flying it to ensure all was well to fly it over the mountains and then they were off.
Here they are enjoying their new toy.
The views were amazing flying home.
I am not sure I will be ready to fly it over the mountains anytime soon but they had a great time.
And got some great pictures.
And they landed safely in Alberta.  :)

Our Speed Demon

Ok, so I have this little boy named Rylan and he is a pretty fearless kid.  He loves to be outside and having fun.  He also likes to ski.  There are two different days for this post.  The first two pictures are after Rylan had been out skiing with his class from school.  I got a phone call at work saying that he was hurt and needed to go to the hospital.  Thankfully Jamie was home and was able to go and get him and take him in.  This is the sweet set up the emergency personal made for his foot at the mountain.
The story is he was going down the hill which he tends to do at a very brisk speed and he lost control.  He slid between two trees and his ski got lodge.  It pulled and twisted his ankle pretty badly.  He was ok but was on crutches for a week.  He is fully recovered now.
This next story takes place in Lake Louise with Jamie and our friend Graham.  After a great day of skiing they were on their last run.  Rylan was once again going a little quick and hit a patch of ice, causing him to loose control. He landed on the side of his face and shoulder, causing a partial dislocation of his shoulder.
The poor guy was in a lot of pain.  They were so nice and kind to him.
They even skied him off the hill.
His face was pretty sore
And his shoulder had to be in a sling for a week and a half.
But he was a trooper and I am sure he will once again go skiing.
The black eye was about two days after.  So looking much better. Oh the joys of having boys.

Boats Field Trip

I am still that mom that loves to go into the classroom to help out.  I am so thankful that I have been blessed to be with my kids.  Stefan had an in school field trip today.  It was learning about boats and buoyancy.

He did a great job making his boat and it works great.

Badminton Fun

Keagan loves to play and try all sports just like his brothers.  This year he even got into badmonton.
I love their bright yellow shirts
He wasn't the best but he could hold his own and even managed to beat a team two years older than him.
Way to go boys.
