Edmonton Rush Lacrosse Game

I love going to sporting events.  I especially love lacrosse.
This my night to have a mother son date with three of the boys.  We had a great time watching the game and my boys discovered that I can yell and scream with the best of them.
We had great seats and got to eye down the competition.   Lol

Jamie and Stefan Inuvik 2015

Stefan and Jamie's father son trip was great.  Stefan has been waiting a long time for his turn to go to Inuvik.  He couldn't wait to go.  Here he is on board and ready to go.
He got to see the cockpit.
Getting off the plane.
The infamous polar bear in the airport.
Arriving at the arctic chalet.
The little cabin and yes someone actually lives here.
Stefans new friend.  LOL
Dog sled parking only.
I love the little outfit that they borrowed for Stefan.  He looks like a true northerner.
Meeting the puppies for the first time.
First night in the cabin.  So comfy.
This is the start of the ice road.
Who would really ride a bike on the ice road.
The boys had fun stopping a long the way.
There is nothing out there.  You don't want to run out of gas or food while driving the road.
He loved every min of this.
The amazing sun set.  That is as high as it goes at this time of year.
But the days are getting longer.
So beautiful.
The made it all the way to Tuktoyaktuk.
They had a tour of the ice house and it was very interesting and very dark.  They climbed down a ladder about 30 feet to a hole underground.  There was no light.  It is were they used to store their food when they didn't have freezers.  So interesting.
Sliding down some of the hills.

They had so much fun stopping at all these cool places.
Ice sculpture.
This the road that Stefan is sitting on.  It is actually ice.
Jamie said it was crazy to listen to the road.   At some points it would actually sound like it was cracking.
The long road home.
Stefan was a little tired after all their exploring.
Welcome to Inuvik.
They got to have a little visitor.  Stefan loved having a puppy for a visit.
This was his first time on a bed or in a house.  He was so cute.
Mom can he come home with me please?
church in Inuvik.
Downtown Inuvik.
The inuckshuck.
They have a pet reindeer.  He was very tame.
And loved ginger snap cookies.
They went up to the cabin in the woods.
Did some snowshoeing.
He did great but sure was tired.
A little bit of snowmobiling
Can't get enough.

And they loved Stefan.
Come play with us.  LOL
Stefan was very lucky because he got to have his very own dog sled team.
He was the youngest one that they have ever had with his own team.
I love this picture because it show how fast he was going with his little "wings" flying in the wind off his hat.  He loved every min. of it.
