Darien Flying Solo!!

I knew this day would come but I am no sure how prepared I was for it.  My oldest went flying today on his own.  I mean really when was it possible for a 15 year old able to fly on their own.
He can't even drive a car!!!
But he did it and he did it well.
He is well on his way to getting his private pilots license.
For now he has his student pilot license which means he can fly on his own or with an instructor.
This was a very proud daddy moment as they have been working on this together.
He loved every min of it.  Way to go Darien!!

Bike Tour

Today we did a bike tour of some of the farms out in Agassi.  It was about 25km and it was a supper hot day.  We stopped at some beautiful farms.
This was the grounds of one of the farms.
We got to pick blueberries.  I am not sure if we ate more than we took home though.  LOL
I am pretty sure I saw us all doing one for the cup one of our mouths.  LOL
They were huge blueberries.
As you can see Keagans hand is at his mouth.  LOL
We also stopped at a bean sprout farm. They were delicious.
All the different samples were wonderful.  This farm had all kinds of antiques.

We had to fill up our water packs several times  It was so hot that we couldn't drink enough.  It was a really fun day but we all had some very sore bums by the end of the day.  ;)

More Deception Pass

We decided to head back to Deception Pass.  We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to take our moms back for a couple of nights.  We are so glad we did.  The boys loved playing and throwing rocks in the water.
Funny how the rocks never ran out.  Haha
Rylan was making some great towers from the rocks.
Grandmas enjoying the view.
Our campsite was perfect and very private.
We went to Fort Casey.  It was so cool to explore here.  The boys loved all the bunkers/barracks they could go in.
Standing on top.  so much fun.
We had a hard time keeping up with them.
Grandmas liked it too.  The view was breathtaking.
They were getting ready for war.
We love to see new places and learn about history.
Even better is when the boys can do hands on and exploring.
We then when up a light house.  It was a little tight at the top but great to see.
Then it was time for a swim.
The only problem was that the water was a little chilly.
I was not getting in that water.  Haha
A little surfing was a little better than being in the water.
It was a beautifully warm day.
The rocks on this particular beach were very large.
Rylan decided to be a daredevil and jump off the dock.
Here he is running.
I was so nervous for him.
I love this action picture.
Almost ready to hit the water!!
Swimming for the dock because he realized how cold it really was.
He is the only brave one that jumped.  Way to go Rylan.

Cultas Lake

Nothing better than a day spent at the lake.  I remember going here when I was a child.  We were lucky enough to join some friends on their boat for some tubing and skiing fun.
The weather was so beautiful and they boys loved jumping off the boat into the water.
Some tubing fun.
It is so amazingly beautiful.  The mountains surrounding this lake is so breathtaking.
It looks like Keagan is going to get run over by the tube.
But they were all jumping in the water.
My baby is getting so big.
Making their way back to the picnic area.
It was a wonderful day.  I love to see my boys outside having fun.
