Hiking Seymour

Our group of hikers heading up Mount Seymour in Vancouver.  It was a beautiful day for a hike.
It was by far one of the hardest hikes that I have done in a while. It was straight up on some very uneven ground.
But these two little munchkins didn't let that slow them down.  I had to work hard to keep up with them.  They were fast and had so much fun.
The leaders of the pack.
I am pretty sure we were only half way up at this point.
But they just kept going.
The end result was spectacular.  There was a lake at the very top and the boys even went for a little dip.
I wasn't ready to do that but they had fun exploring around the lake.
Keagan jumping in.
Rylan taking his turn.
They were the only two that took the plunge.
They are my hero's.
The two brave ones.
Enjoying the view and sun.
These boys are so much fun.
Stefan didn't get too wet.  He likes to see what and who he is swimming with.  Lakes are not his favorite thing.  LOL
But he will always play in the water.
Our pose at the top.
Our hike down didn't take us very long but it sure was hard on our knees.
This is one of our favorite places to stop.  The view of down town Vancouver is amazing.
Jamie and I used to come up here when we were dating.  Now look at what we have between us and there is one missing.  LOL  Another great day!!

Deception Pass

We decided to try some were new to take our new little camper.  This year we went over the border to Deception Pass and it was amazingly beautiful  We are walking over the bridge here.
The gorgeous view from the pridge.
I wanted to take a picture of everything.
We did a lot of hiking and the boys loved it.
The exploring and playing was endless.
We were a little tired.
But smiled nicely for our family picture. We were missing Darien at this point because his time was so limited in BC he decided to stay at a friends house so that they had more time together.
My good looking boys.
I love everything about the west coast!!
I wish that I was better at photography.  There is so much beauty here.
We were down here for three days and every day we tried to find some where new to explore and play.
This rock was almost covered at high tide.
These cute boys were so free and happy.
Me and my baby.
Trying not to touch the rocks by staying on the drift wood.
The managed well.
I love these kind of pictures.
Exploring the tide pools.  They had a path for you to follow and cheat sheets so you could tell what you where looking at.
It is hard to tell but we were very high up.
Super power!!
Just a little steep.
I do love my boys.  This was a natural knot in the tree that was perfect.
A little swimming even though it was cold.
Making some drift wood forts.
There may have been a little bit of fighting over who had the best fort.
But in the end it didn't matter and they each had fun.
Peek a boo Keagan.
Keagan slept in the tent while the rest of us where in the trailer.
Our wee little trailer that was just right for us.
Sadly it did rain our last day.
But that was just fine.  We didn't let it dampen our great time.
