Boggy Boarding

Lets go boogie boarding now every bodies learning how.  LOL  Our favorite pass time while on vacation is boogie boarding.  The boys spend hours playing in the surf.
These are the moments I love to remember.
I wish my boys weren't growing up so quickly.
Three of my four boys.  :)  Having a great time
Even dad gets in on the action.  It is so fun trying to see how far you can ride the wave in.
Unlce David having a great time.
Love the action pictures the most.  Darien showing his sweet skills.
It is a long shot but I managed to get a picture of myself boogie boarding.  I know that there aren't often many pictures of me enjoying the fun but I am and not just from behind the camera.  :)
The Keagan man was one of the first to get a great wave.

Boat Tour

So this was our first adventure while in Costa Rica.  We did a boat tour down the estuary that was just down from our house.  It was really neat.
We saw a lot of wildlife.  We liked the smiling crocodile.  He was pretty neat from a distance.  The estuary led right into the ocean and would rise and fall with the tide.
We were able to see a ton of different birds and howler monkeys.  They are so small considering the sound that comes out of them.  LOL
The crew checking out all the sites on a stop.  We were searching for the monkeys.  Our guide was so good.  He knew just the spots to go to.
All aboard.
Rylan enjoying the view.
What a sweet ride.
The boys found some great sand to play in after our ride.  We were a little concerned that they were not going to get out of it before the tide came in.
Love this picture of the boys exploring the rocks.  This was completely covered when the tide came in.  Great day!!!

Costa Rica

So here we are again!!! Costa Rica how we love you and miss you when we are gone.  We are once again back in this beautiful country and so happy about it.
This time we are in a different part of the country called Tamarindo Costa Rica.  We have rented this amazing house for a week and couldn't be happier.  The pool and outside area as you can see in the picture bellow is awesome.
This is inside the main house with large sliding windows and more eating area.  Just past the picnic area is the beach and ocean.  AMAZING!!
That is my mom in the back there behind the pool in the bunk house.  This is were Jamie, myself, my mom and three of the boys were sleeping.
Stefan could not wait to jump in the pool.  Can you see the ocean just beyond the trees?
Our amazing and virtually private beach.  Sand and waves were amazing.
This was only night one of the most amazing sun sets that we have ever seen.
Keagan could be a model.  LOL
Time to sit back and relax.
The view from the kitchen.  Yes Please!!!  :)
We were lucky to have the most amazing cook come in and prepare our dinners each night.  It was such a treat not to cook for 13 people.
Our sweet ride and yes all 13 of could squeeze in here.  We were like clowns in a clown car.  LOL
The front view of the house.
The view from the balcony of our room.  Love it.
Our favorite place to hang out and play games every evening.  This is the start to a very wonderful vacation.

Mount Baker Skiing

It has been a very long time since I have skied a big mountain.  LOL  But here we are at Mount Baker with our dear friends the Branscombe's.
I must admit that I was a little nervous.  But the boys were all over the top about going.
Here we are (Heather, myself and Rylan)  This was one of the few times that we saw Rylan and Heather.  They made each other official partners and were together the whole day and had a great time.  :)
Getting ready to go down.
Rylan is such a super star skier.
Darien and Arron spent the whole day together and loved it.
Keagan joined in the fun, but he doesn't love skiing as much as everyone else.  :)
It was a beautiful day for skiing.  The sun was shining and the mountains looked amazing.
Stefan did a couple of runs but spent most of his time on the bunny hill.
He became the pro of the bunny hill.
I love these pictures of my boys.
I miss the west coast so much.
The end of our day.
And a wonderfully amazing day that it was.

IFLY and Boeing Field

One of Darien's main gifts this year was to go to iFLY which is a huge indoor wind tunnel that simulates sky diving.  Darien's dream is to one day jump out of a plane.
We figured that we should try something a little bit safer first.  LOL  He did amazingly.  It was so much fun to watch him and he had a really good time.
He looked like a pro.
Then it was off to the air museum.  If you know my family at all you know that this is just not an option.  I am completely out numbered when it comes to this.  We are all going.  LOL
The boys even went into the flight simulator.
Uncle Tyler had quite the ride with Rylan.  LOL
