Mount Baker Skiing

It has been a very long time since I have skied a big mountain.  LOL  But here we are at Mount Baker with our dear friends the Branscombe's.
I must admit that I was a little nervous.  But the boys were all over the top about going.
Here we are (Heather, myself and Rylan)  This was one of the few times that we saw Rylan and Heather.  They made each other official partners and were together the whole day and had a great time.  :)
Getting ready to go down.
Rylan is such a super star skier.
Darien and Arron spent the whole day together and loved it.
Keagan joined in the fun, but he doesn't love skiing as much as everyone else.  :)
It was a beautiful day for skiing.  The sun was shining and the mountains looked amazing.
Stefan did a couple of runs but spent most of his time on the bunny hill.
He became the pro of the bunny hill.
I love these pictures of my boys.
I miss the west coast so much.
The end of our day.
And a wonderfully amazing day that it was.

IFLY and Boeing Field

One of Darien's main gifts this year was to go to iFLY which is a huge indoor wind tunnel that simulates sky diving.  Darien's dream is to one day jump out of a plane.
We figured that we should try something a little bit safer first.  LOL  He did amazingly.  It was so much fun to watch him and he had a really good time.
He looked like a pro.
Then it was off to the air museum.  If you know my family at all you know that this is just not an option.  I am completely out numbered when it comes to this.  We are all going.  LOL
The boys even went into the flight simulator.
Uncle Tyler had quite the ride with Rylan.  LOL

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!  Here the boys are up at the crack of dawn.  LOL
Daddy isn't even fully awake yet.  LOL
But who can resist getting up for the happiest day of the year.
Stefan with his awesome new slippers.  :)
Our family this year.  As you can see we have welcomed back our bonus baby.  This was not planned but we love him so much we were happy to have him return to us.  Not sure how long it will be for but we will enjoy every min.
This year was the year for helicopters.  I am pretty sure everyone got one this year.
And motorized scooters.
And of course long boards.
Darien is getting to be too cool.  He will always be my first born and little boy.  :)
Rylan and his scooter.
The boys trying them out for the first time.  It is a good thing we were in BC so they could.  There is no way they could have done this at home with all the snow.
These parents sure plan things out well.  :)
Merry Christmas Grandma.  Everyone needs a little pick me up.  LOL
This year we did Christmas day with my family at my sisters house.  It was so wonderful to be all together.
Everyone had a great time.
There was so much yummy food.  I love family gatherings.  :)

Christmas Eve

It has been a long time since we have been to BC for Christmas.  It was so wonderful to be home for Christmas and to be with our families.  We did Christmas eve with my family at my moms house.  We did our usual of going to see a movie during the day.  This year we saw Frozen and it was a great movie.  Then it was time to head back to moms to open our Christmas PJ's.
It was great to have Trevor there this year also.
My brother and his family also.
Opening their cool pj's.
Our baby is back.  That is a whole other story but he was our Christmas present about a week before Christmas.  :)
Getting the tree ready
The stockings were not hung but they were ready.
Grandma Penni has a very small tree but there were a lot of presents. LOL  Merry Christmas everyone.

Christmas Concerts

This year Rylan's Christmas concert was based on the Grinch Story.  It was done very well and I really enjoyed watching it.  If only I could have understood it but it was all in French.
They all looked great and played their parts very well.
Keagan actually participated in his Christmas concert but not really performing.  He was in charge of the props and he was also a cloud.  :)  So fun
He enjoyed that role a lot more than just singing.
Stefan was so cute in his concert.
All their little actions and song is so cute.  I love watching my children perform and seeing their smiling faces up there.  What a great way to start of the season.

Castle Project

Can I just say I am not a big fan of these type of projects.  I always seem to get overwhelmed by them and we are usually finishing them the night before they are due.  LOL  I am a horrible mother and not very creative.  There are always those projects in the class that you can tell had major parent participation.  As you can see with our there was minimal parent participation.  LOL
Rylan did a great job and was very proud of his project.  Another one done, only one more to go.  ;)
