Christmas Concerts

This year Rylan's Christmas concert was based on the Grinch Story.  It was done very well and I really enjoyed watching it.  If only I could have understood it but it was all in French.

They all looked great and played their parts very well.

Keagan actually participated in his Christmas concert but not really performing.  He was in charge of the props and he was also a cloud.  :)  So fun

He enjoyed that role a lot more than just singing.

Stefan was so cute in his concert.

All their little actions and song is so cute.  I love watching my children perform and seeing their smiling faces up there.  What a great way to start of the season.

Castle Project

Can I just say I am not a big fan of these type of projects.  I always seem to get overwhelmed by them and we are usually finishing them the night before they are due.  LOL  I am a horrible mother and not very creative.  There are always those projects in the class that you can tell had major parent participation.  As you can see with our there was minimal parent participation.  LOL 

Rylan did a great job and was very proud of his project.  Another one done, only one more to go.  ;)

Bell Choir

Rylan was so excited to get picked to be part of the school bell choir this year.  I love everything about the bells and they did an amazing job.

They did a few different concerts.  This one is at the airport just outside the arrivals area.  It was so nice to be able to go and watch them perform.  It was so nice to set the tone for those arriving for Christmas.  Rylan really enjoyed being a part of this. 

Work Christmas Party

I have no idea how many years we have been going to Jamie's family work Christmas party but here we are again.  This year they had some great sparkle tattoos to have.

We had an extra this year.  One of Darien's friends came along and it was fun.  She is such a nice girl.

Rylan is a real wild child with his unicorn tattoo.  LOL

Stefan on the other had is a little more tame with his purple sparkle skull tattoo.  LOL

The smile says it all.  Final year for sitting on Santa's lap.  LOL

The believers were way more willing.  Love the magic of Christmas.

Rylan was having a pretty major chat with Santa.  If only Santa recorded all his conversations with the kids.  I am sure there would be some pretty funny ones.

Keagan still got up there.  Another wonderful year and way of starting off the Christmas season.

School Play

I was able to go and watch Rylan's class play today.  Of course I had no idea what was going on as it was all in french.  But they looked like they were having a great time.  LOL

I love Rylan's costume.  It was the one that my mom made for Keagan last year for Halloween.  It has been put to great use.

The boys wrote their play and were very happy with how it came out.  Way to go boys.

Skating Fun

Stefan was so excited to finally be able to go skating with his school  He has waited a long time for this as he has been watching his older brothers do it for a long time.  :)  We are definitely not a pro skating family but we have a great time trying.

Rylan had a great time with his class also.  I enjoyed finally being able to get out on the ice with them.  This was the first time that I have not had a little one in tow and it was great to be there skating with them.

Dog Sledding

This is the most amazing thing to do.  Dog sledding in the North.  I can honestly say this has been one of the high lights of my life.  I know that you can do it in other places but there is something about leading your own team and doing it where it is meant to be done.  :)

Of course it seems like every time we go there or Jamie goes there, there are new puppies.  We have managed to resist but they sure are cute.

As is tradition you need to have your picture taken in front of this little cottage.

Jamie is almost like family here.  LOL  They had a great trip.  Stefan is the final one that needs to go.  So probably  next year is his year.
