Temple Day and White Rock

Today we had the opportunity to go to the Vancouver Temple.  It was so wonderful to be in this beautiful building.

After a lovely morning, we then moved on to a lovely day of hanging out at the beach in White Rock.

A day at the beach is made even better with skim boards to try out.

They all had so much fun playing in the water and sand.

Rylan even manged to do some sweet moves.  This was so much fun and we really enjoyed sharing some of favorite things with the Accorda family.  This was our last day with them as they are heading home tomorrow.  

Biking the Sea Wall

As always it wouldn't be a trip to the Vancouver without the a day of biking the Sea Wall.  

This will never get old for me.

I will continue to do this every summer that we go.  Darien is with us just not in the picture.  He decided to see how many times he could go around in our once. I think he made it 7 times round.  He was so excited to use his new street bike that he just bought with his own money.

After a beautiful day at Stanley Park we made our way Granville Island for some exploring.  It was a long day but a ton of fun.

Vancouver and Lynn Canyon

Today was a Vancouver Day.  We started off on the North Shore with this beautiful view of Vancouver in the back round.

Then we took the sea bus across to Vancouver so that we could do some exploring around down town.  It was such a beautiful day.  It is days like this that make me really miss home.

After our little bit of exploring we made out way to one of other favorite places to go.  Lynn Canyon.  Here we had a picnic lunch.

Then it was off to play in the water and do some cliff jumping.  My niece Kristina even came along for the day.

Now this water is cold. It makes my feet go numb.  LOL

The boys didn't go in too far for too long.  But it was great to cool off.

Cascade Falls

This is one place that you will see quit often when going home.  Especially on a warm day.  Cascade Falls is close home and the boys love all the rocks to explore and climb on.  Rylan and Amber.

On our way back we couldn't resist stopping to pick a few of the natural berries in season.  Black Berries.  Because we live in Alberta we normally have to spend a lot to enjoy black berries so when ever we are home we always stop to enjoy them for free as they grow wild every where.

I am not sure how many made it into their mouths as apposed to the bucket but what ever it was fun.  LOL

Berry Picking In BC

No onto the second part of our trip.  We decided to cover both Coasts this summer.  So it was off to the West Coast for the last part of our summer with a family from our church the Accorda's.  Today we are visiting a berry picking farm with a petting zoo.  Of course the first place the boys go is to see the animals.  LOL
