Happy Birthday Stefan!!

Wow, Stefan is 6 years old today!!!!  He was so happy to get a new bike for his birthday.  It is a little big for him but he is so happy to have it that it doesn't matter.  He will grow into it and it will be the perfect size for him next year.  But it is a real bike with gears and everything.  LOL
Happy Birthday my sweet boy
As is tradition we don't do big birthday celebrations just us as a family and that is all you need.  We are happy to celebrate together and talk about the day the boys were born.  Stefan has been an amazing addition to our family and the day he was born we felt complete.  He adds a lot of personality to our home which I didn't think was possible with all the personality that we already had going on.  LOL  He is so caring and the first to want to share whatever he has with someone else.  There is no such thing as 'mine' in his vocabulary.  He loves everyone and laughs often especially himself when he burps or toots.  LOL  He is so much fun.  I am going to miss our time together next year as he starts school full time.  No more time for taking our time walking home and stepping in every puddle we see, or little chats as as we ride our bikes around town.  He is such a little man and we love him to pieces.  Happy Birthday.
As is tradition on the last day of school we always take the boys out for dinner to celebrate.  Montana's is our go to restaurant.  We don't eat out very often but it is great to show our kids how proud we are of them and their hard work.  They all had excellent report cards this year and we appreciate how hard they work to accomplish that.  Way to go boys.
Of course being that it was Stefan's birthday also, they had to sing to him and he got to put on the cool birthday hat. LOL
 Happy Birthday Stefan.

Last Day of School

Children's Festival.  This is something that they do every year on the last day of school for the kindergarten children.  Stefan is making a picture frame.
 Surfer dude.
 Making bubbles.
I was so happy because I managed to make it to all the different activities that the children had today.  Rylan was swimming with his class in the morning.
And then had a party in his classroom in the afternoon.
And Keagan was at the spray park for the afternoon.
I thought it would be fun to take some year end photos this year.  Keagan decided to go dressy for the last day.  LOL  This has been a wonderful school year for Keagan.  Together we made the decision to move him from french immersion to English and he is so happy that we did.  He really enjoyed his teacher this year and made a ton of new friends.  He changed schools this year now being in the middle school.  He is getting so big and is a great kid full of personality as I am sure his teacher will attest too.  LOL  Keep up the good work Keagan.
Rylan is still in french immersion and is doing great.  He loves every thing about french and even has the little french twang when he speaks it.  LOL  He is a super student and works hard at doing his best work all the time.  He is so fun to watch learn and grow.  He had a great teacher this year that really got to know him and understand his way of learning.  She was amazing.  Rylan you are full of life and personality and I hope that never changes.  Keep of the great work.
Stefans schooling has just begun but if he keeps going the way he his he will be great.  He loves being with all his friends and learning new things.  He can't wait to read his first full book so that is something we will be working on this summer.  He is so looking forward to grade one and homework. LOL  We will see how long that last.  ;)  Never change who you are.  You are so happy and willing to help all the time.  We love you for all that you do.  Can't wait for next year.
Darien has changed so much this year.  He has turned into a real man.  I am pretty sure that he has grown at least 4 inches this year and we can't keep up with the need for new clothes and shoes. LOL  This year has been full of ups and downs but in the end it was great.  You have worked hard to get to were you are. Stay focused on what you want out of life and you will go far.  You are a great example to your brothers in the choices that you make and a great friend.  It is hard to believe you will be going on to High School next year.  You are a great kid and we love you.

Kindergarten Graduation

This is one of the sweetest days as a mother, Kindergarten Graduation.
I have been so blessed to have four amazing boys and I have been able to go to all four graduations when they have moved up from being so little to so big.  I have been to all four at the same school with the same feeling of excitement for them as they look forward to what their school years have in store for them.  Stefan is my last one to have this experience and it was so wonderful.
Sitting with all his little class mates.
 Greeting the Principle Mr. Gamache.
Mrs. Witherspoon the EA in the class room.
 And his teacher Ms. Strap.
They thought it was so funny when they got the throw their hats at the end.  LOL
My boy was lucky to have Ms. Clancy for the majority of the year while his other teacher Ms. Strap was on medical leave.  She was such an amazing teacher.
One of his best buddies, who we found out will be in his class again next year for grade one.  Yay!
Ms. Strap his other teacher who he really only had for a couple of months but she did a great job.
Mrs. W who is the EA in the classroom.  She was so great and has been a part of all of my children's lives since the very beginning with Darien.  So fun that she has seen them all grow up.
I am so proud of this boy.  It is hard to believe that he is growing up so quickly.  He is so full of life and lives it to the fullest and I hope that never changes.  We love you Stefan.

Lacrosse Tournament

This was Stefan's last weekend for playing lacrosse.  He is such a little go getter when it comes to playing this game.
He is very competitive and not really one to back down.
He played really well this year and of course can't wait for next year.
He really works up a sweat playing and he was so happy to receive a medal.  Such a great weekend.

Parade Day

Welcome to living in a small town were we celebrate Farmers Day.  LOL
Every year we have a parade and activities on this weekend in our small town.  I wasn't there as Stefan had a lacrosse tournament this weekend but Jamie took the other boys and their friend.  It was great to see Darien marching with his Cadet Squadron.
Of course the boys favorite part was getting all the treats and candy that gets tossed from the floats.  And getting wet from the fire fighters at the end.  LOL

Biking the River Valley

I LOVE riding my bike.  I am pretty sure that I was meant to live in Amsterdam.  LOL  Where every one rides their bikes but alas I live in Canada.  That doesn't stop me from riding my bike every where in our small down.  If I can ride there I will over driving anytime.  :)
Jamie and I had taken our bikes to a new locations just a couple of weeks ago and so I decide that I would take the boys the next time they had a day off school.  So here we are exploring the ravine.  And stopping for a drink.
I love the fact that they are all riding bikes now and that we can do this type of day trip.
Mr. K loves being in the bike trailer and is happy to come along for the ride.
We stopped for some fun at the river to throw rocks and sticks in the water.
Just like his dad he has to find the biggest rock to make the biggest splash.  LOL
Keagan tends to go for height.  LOL
Stefan goes for speed.
And we all get a little wet and very dirty.  LOL
This was a great way to spend the day with the boys.  Darien and Jamie weren't with us they were out taking their first flying lessons as Jamie prepares to get his private pilots licence.
