The Bone Church

We have been so blessed to stay at with some amazing people and we are so thankful to them for opening their homes to us.  We are a very large group but they have been amazing.  The boys enjoyed being able to play in the garden.

Climbing the tree was one of their personal favorite things to do.  Thankfully no one fell and broke any bones.  I can say that now that we are home.  LOL

Again we made our way to the country to do some more sight seeing.  At this point the boys were getting pretty tired of seeing castles and churches.  LOL

Each one has something unique about it though.  It is just hard to remember them all.

This was the biggest door.  LOL

The food is always so amazing.  They really know how to cook here.  This restaurant was perfect because while the adults ate the children could go and play in the court yard just outside.  Perfection!!

This is one church that I am sure they will not soon forget. Yes those are really human bones.  I have never seen anything like this in all my life.

I am not sure that the picture even does it justice.   Amazing, yet very creepy at the same time.

We thought that we would have the boys count all the bones that they could see but that would have been impossible.  Sure was a sight to see.

Prague Caslt and Dowtown Prague

This was our day spent in Prague the capital of the Czech Republic. 

As always the boys tried to get the guard to smile but it just wasn't going to happen.  LOL

I will never get tired of looking at the amazing architecture in Europe and being in awe of the amazing buildings and their age.

We got caught in a freak rain storm and I am pretty sure they were the biggest drops I have ever seen.  We managed to take cover under a tree and stay dry.

I am so thankful for the wonderful experience that Jamie had while serving his mission in this beautiful country and the joy that he has in sharing this with his boys.

Charles Bridge.

It is hard not to fall in love with this beautiful city/country when you husband loves it so much.  It really helps that he still speaks czech fluently.  In fact most people that he talks to thinks that he is Czech just living in Canada.  So proud of him.

I can't remember the name of this square but it is huge with store lining it all the way along.

Our Accomidations in Milevsko and On to Prague.

W just wanted to share with you our amazing accommodations while in Milevsko.  This was such an old building and it totally reminded us of the pictures that you see from during the communist time.  We were watching the Olympics on an old black and white TV.  LOL

Not much to the bathroom.  But thankfully we were all clean.  LOL

We really enjoyed out time with Marketa's parents and appreciated all that they did with and for us.  The boys especially enjoyed visiting them at their sweet shop in town.  :)

Our final farewells with Julius and Blanka.  It was a great time and we look forward to seeing them again.

We were now off to Prague for the final leg of our trip.  First stop Karlstejn Castle.  This very much an iconic symbol for the Czech Republic.  This is were everyone goes.

I can still remember the first time that Jamie and I came to this castle.  It was great to take the boys to it.  The small town surrounding the castle is very beautiful also.

Some Sights in Czech

Zviko Castle.  Today we spent the day exploring some of the amazing sights around Milevsko.

We were able to go and visit our dear friend Robert's Grandmother.  It was wonderful to see her and of course she fed us some amazing cake.

Our last night with Marketa's parents.  They were so wonderful to us.  It was a great visit.

Fun in Zlin

This was our final day in Zlin before heading to our other areas to visit.  This was such a great visit and Tyler and Michelle loved every minute.  It was funny because more often than not Jarda and Michelle were meeting up in the toilet.  LOL

Mirka was kind enough to let all the boys go for a ride on her little scooter that she takes to work and to shop.  She does have a car but this is so cool. 

Even Keagan got to go.  LOL

Darien now wants one for going to school on but we are pretty sure that it would be illegal in Canada.

Jamie really suits this.  LOL I think he should ride one to work. 

I was totally sold.  I wish that I could have one for doing my shopping around town.  LOL

After our goodbyes we made our way to Milevsko to visit with our friends Julius and Blanka (Marketas parents).  About 4 hours west of Zlin.  The boys needed to stretch their legs so we went for a walk.

This is a beautiful country.  Isn't that cute that Jamie and Tyler are matching.  LOL

The boys thought that this was the coolest thing.  In the middle of the town there was this machine with cows all over it.  There was one machine like a vending machine were you could pick out the size of bottle you wanted and then beside it was the machine that dispensed the fresh off the farm milk.  Kind of like our water refill stations but milk.  And it was cold to boot.  LOL
