Rylan's Boat

Rylan is such a great boy.  Here is a boat that he made from recycled items.  Now we had been olding onto this boat for quite some time when we decided it was time to send it back to recycling.  Well you can only imagen how well that went over with Rylan our little hoarder.

Rylan does not like to get rid of anything.  So we compromised and decided to take a picture to keep forever instead of the boat.  What a kid.  You have got to love him. 

Crazy Darien

Darien is at that really fun teenage time when you can get in to do just about anything crazy.  LOL  So after finishing Auntie Joy's pickles we thought it would be funny to see if Darien would drink the juices.

As you can tell it didn't taste very good.  LOL  We had a great laugh.  It is so much fun seein them get older and the fun things we can do.

Calgary Track Meet

This was a fun way to spend the day.  Darien and Keagan both had a track meet down in Calgary so we loaded up for the day and spent some time down south.

The boys had several races in the morning but when lunch hit it was time to head outside and do some exploring so we made our way down to the river.  The boys found this great place to take pictures.  LOL

Not too sure what this it but Rylan was pretty proud of himself for climbing on top of it.

Of course it wouldn't be a walk by the river with out some objects being thrown in.  LOL  Jamie always has to pick the biggest things.  Today it was a very large stick.

We spend a good couple of hours just playing along the shore line.  So much fun and it was beautiful outside.

The boys did so well in their runs.  I love seeing them work so hard.  The look on Darien's face is pure determination.  LOL

It was a great weekend for both of them.  Coming in top three for all their races.  Way to go boys.

Harlem Globe Trotters

We have this great web site here that we use all the time to get coupons for restaurants and other entertainment and when tickets came up to go and see the Harlem Globe Trotters Jamie and I couldn't resist.  LOL

The boys had no clue they were pretty surprised and we all had a great time.  It is a very entertaining to watch.

I remember going when I was about 12 so it was great to see them again.

What a fun way to spend an evening.

Easter 2012

As is tradtion we made out way out to Wizard lake for our annual easter egg hunt.  Everyone was all geared up and ready to go.  LOL

Stefan managed to find a lot of eggs this year.

It can be pretty tuff finding eggs in all the bush.

And once again some eggs did not return.  LOL  It was great a day.  We are really going to miss our friends as they have moved to the States for 3 years while he specializes in his line of work.  We will have to start it up again when they get back.

At the Zoo

We decided that it would be fun to head out to the zoo for the day while we had the girls.

I had forgotten how much work it is to have 6 kids.  LOL  They still like to run off in opposite directions.  As least my kids are older now so they stay close by and are very helpful.

They loved looking at all the different animals.

We have a new sea lion habitat and we spent a lot of time here because there was so much to see.

Really what can I say.  Precious!!

The boys were so happy to have the girls come for a visit.  We did hear a lot of "I wish we still had the girls"  but it was great just having them visit.

But really by the end of the weekend we were all very tired.  We still feel so blessed to have these girls come to our home even it it is only once in a while.  So much fun.  :)

OurGirls

This was a very exciting weekend for us because once again we were able to have our girls.  It was so wonderful to see them and how big they are getting.  They are beautiful!!!

They are so funny and Stefan was so excited for them to come.  It was still very hard as they still call us mommy and daddy which is heart renching but we love them so much.

They are very out going and not shy at all.  It was like they were never gone.  They jumped right back into exploring and playing.

Not much has changed they still love being outside and playing on all the different toys. 

I love these next couple of pictures of Miss KR.  There was a little bit of fighting over who got to ride the bike every time but we managed to take turns.  :)
