OurGirls

This was a very exciting weekend for us because once again we were able to have our girls.  It was so wonderful to see them and how big they are getting.  They are beautiful!!!

They are so funny and Stefan was so excited for them to come.  It was still very hard as they still call us mommy and daddy which is heart renching but we love them so much.

They are very out going and not shy at all.  It was like they were never gone.  They jumped right back into exploring and playing.

Not much has changed they still love being outside and playing on all the different toys. 

I love these next couple of pictures of Miss KR.  There was a little bit of fighting over who got to ride the bike every time but we managed to take turns.  :)

Our Hiking Adventure

On our way home to Alberta we stopped at our favorite place in Canmore for a night to do some more hiking in the mountains.

We always love staying at this hotel because there is room for all of us and we can go and get groceries and use the kitchen for our meals.  The beds are also supper comfy.  LOL

The boys really like it because of the really fast slide and pool.

The next moring we made our way out to do some hiking.  It was a great looking day and we were all pretty excited about going.

But about half way through the hike we hit by a white of a snow storm.  LOL  It was a little shocking but we decided to keep going.  We were all having too much fun.

It was so beautiful and peaceful hiking in the snow.  The boys did great.  We hiked up a frozen river bed.

To a frozen waterfall.  As steep at this picture looks is how steep it really was.  It was very interesting trying to climb up to the top.

The boys had a great time climbing up and sliding down on their feet.

Darien tried to go higher but it was too slick.

They did make it up to the little cave.

Rylan and Grandma.  Grandma even managed to do the whole hike.  We had so much fun and we can't wait to go back in the summer and try it again.

On one of our rainy days we head out to the local pool for some fun.  Rylan showing his moves on the rope swing.

I was surprised that Stefan could hang on long enough to swing on the rope.

High Tea

This was a fun afternoon spent with my mother-in-law and her two friends at high tea at the Vancouver Hotel.

I have never been out for high tea and it was wonderful.  I really enjoyed it.

Cascade Falls BC

For spring break this year we made out way back to BC to visit with family and do some hiking.  The boys were pretty excited to go to Cascade Falls. 

Jamie and I used to come hiking here when we were dating so it was great to bring the kids back.

I thought that this was a cute picture.  Of Rylan and Stefan.

I thought that it would be great to do a brothers picture with Jamie and Dave.  One day I can see Rylan and Stefan this same size.  :)

It is so great to hike in the forest with the boys because they love it and exploring.

Cascade Falls

We hiked to the of the falls and had a great time playing on the rocks.

It was so warm and beautiful sitting on the rocks.

I was a little nervous about this but Rylan made it across without even getting wet.

I was very nervous about this but Jamie managed to make it too.  LOL  This was a great way to spend the day.  Being out doors is my favorite place to be enjoying time with my family.

Rick Hansen

I remember growing up and hearing about Rick Hanson.  So when I heard that he was coming through our small town I had to go and see.  This is Rylan and his class lining up to watch him come.

Here is the man in motion himself.  :)

Rylan was pretty excited to get a high five from him.  It was really moving to see him and to see how excited the kids were to see him.

Happy Birthday Keagan

We now have another child in the double digets.  LOL  Keagan has now turned 10.  We had a wonderful time with our friends the Marsden's, Dosko's and Hanson's who came over to to celebrate with us.  Renea brought Keagan this amazing ninjo cake.

Keagan is such a good boy and has grown up so much in the last couple of years.  He had just finished at a track meet that  is why he was still wearing his number.  LOL

Only the best for our kids.  LOL  As you can see we go all out when it comes to wrapping our presents for them.  LOL  Yes that is a towel.

He was so excited to be get more lego.  He loves his lego.

But the icing on the cake was getting his Taylor Hall hockey jersey.  He loved it.
