Fun in Victoria

Finally we had a nice day while in Victoria so we took advantage of it and head out to the break water to take a walk. It was beautiful out but a little chilly. We got some great pictures of the boys by the light out.
I love this picture of them all leaning against the light out.

Our group.

Nothing like throwing rocks in the ocean along with sticks.

The boys loved being able to be outside.

Have you ever wondered if you could break a stick against the wall? Well my boys can tell you. LOL We had a great time and managed to get home right before it started raining again.

Christmas Morning

Good morning to everyone on this wonderful Christmas Morning. Thankfully all the kids were good and weren't up at the crack of dawn. LOL This was the scene as soon as they were up.
As is tradition the family picture in front of the tree. It took us a couple of times to get the camera set up and everyone set but it was worth it.

Me and my boys. This will be the last time we spend Christmas away from daddy. We sure missed him and it wasn't the same without him.

Rylan opening up his presents.

Darien wearing his new rabbit lined winter hat. A must have for our cold winters.

Stefan looking at his stash.

What more could Keagan ask for. LOL

Merry Christmas Carl and Sue.

Joy working hard in the kitchen. We were fed well while we were there.

This is my favorite way to eat. Have it all set out and just munch all day long. (Probably not the best for you but definitely tastes the best. LOL)

Stefan thought it would be funny to sit in the box full of all the wrapping paper.

Our beautiful Christmas dinner. It was wonderful.

All the kids getting ready to pull their Christmas crackers.

Of course you have to wear your hat. LOL

The "adult" table. LOL Wearing our awesome hats. This was such a wonderful Christmas day. I was a little sad that the weather wasn't a better but we still had a great time. It was the first time in many many years that I have been with by brother for Christmas. I think it has been about 10 years. So it was great to be together. Hopefully next year we will be able to have David and his family with us too. Merry Christmas Everyone.

Christmas Eve

For the rest of our time in BC we were able to head over to Vancouver Island to spend the holidays with by brother and his family. We had such a wonderful time. Here we are just relaxing for the evening.
As is tradition we have to open up our pajamas Christmas Eve.

I think everyone thought that their pajamas were a little bit too big we have managed to grow into them. LOL

Ok so they were a little big, but look how cute all the cousins look together. LOL The tall one is my nephew who is turning 18 this year. It is hard to believe that he was just a baby when Jamie and I started dating.

Here is the beautiful tree and Grandma enjoying the beauty.

All the stockings.

There is so much excitement Christmas Eve. The kids had a hard time going to sleep. But they finally managed to nod off. LOL

Christmas Part One

This year we were able to spend Christmas out in BC. It was a little difficult because Jamie had to work during Christmas so he was only able to drive out with us and stay for a couple of days. He then flu home. We did manage to do the gift opening with Jamie's side of the family. Here are all the cousins together itching to open their gifts.
Jamie's mom has always made a Christmas stocking for all the grand kids so it was wonderful to take a picture with them all. They are the most beautiful cross stitched stockings.

Can you tell that Stefan already has some candy in his mouth. LOL

Rylan didn't get his two front teeth for Christmas but he got a lot of other wonderful things.

Keagans beautiful stocking.

Is is just me or is Darien growing up really quickly.

Keagan was so happy to recieve all these Oiler things from his Uncle Tyler.

Jamie's yummy treats. These are classic.

We had a wonderful time with Jamie's family.

DIY Tree Skirt

I have a new addiction on the Internet and it is called Pintrest. It is sight were you can find everything from crafts, to food, to all kinds of different things. I found this DIY tree skirt that I was so excited to make. It was really easy, just a little bit time consuming because of all the glue.
I went through a lot of glue. LOL

I am so happy with the finishing results. I can't wait for my next project.

Christmas Concerts

I love Christmas concerts. They are so much fun to watch and see how hard to the kids have been working on getting ready. Keagan playing his recorder.
Rylan had to wear his Santa hat.

It is sad that Darien is too old for having concerts. The boys get so excited their concerts.

Next year Keagan won't be having a concert and that makes me a little sad. At least I still have Stefan to come.
