Fun Park Day

It was very warm while we were in Salt Lake but who can resist a fun park. We just had to make sure that we had a lot of water. I had fun playing with my new camera. I love the action shots.
Rylan's classic look of concentration with his tongue sticking out.

Stefan getting in on the action.

While the little kids were playing at the park the big kids were at the skate park. Keagan having a little break.

Darien had saved up his birthday money and babysitting money so that he could get a new scooter while we were in the States and he was so excited to try it out.

These are his cool moves.

He was so excited that I was able to finally take some continuous shots so that he could see how he looked. :)

He mastered a lot of new tricks.

New Camera

I have been wanting a new camera for over a year now and finally I was able to get one while down in the states, making it a lot cheaper than buying it in Canada. I had to add these pictures that Darien took of Stefan. I am not sure who is more excited about the camera Darien or me. LOL But he did do a great job taking these pictures. :)

Concentrating on his play.

Mmmmm We Love Candy

Everyone needs to do a candy tour and that is just what we did. We took all the kids to the Sweets Candy factory in Salt Lake. It was so neat to see them make all the different candy especially the salt water taffy. We had to wear these really cool hats for the tour. LOL

All the kids, they look too funny with their hats. They all managed to keep their hats on.

Of course everyones favorite part about the tour was eating the candy at the end. LOL This was a lot of fun.

Happy 4th of July Shopping!!!

For some fun we went to one of our favorite places for shopping Park City!!! This really does have the best shopping and outlets. It was great because we were able to get all the kids their back to school clothes and everyone was happy. After about a half day of shopping we knew that it was time to let the kids play so it was off to find a park and we managed to find a really cool one.
Darien and Ashley hanging out.

Keagan and Joseph playing on the hammock.

I loved this bridge that Rylan was playing on.

All the kids had to try this one but some got going so fast that they fell off. LOL Joseph and Keagan only just managed to hold on with the days pushing it.

I love this group picture of all the kids climbing. It is hard to see them all but they were up there. So much fun.

More spinning rides with some added wood chips. So fun. LOL This was a great way to end off a morning of shopping.

Donut Falls

This was our fourth of July activity. We headed up to the Canyon to go for a hike at Donut Falls. It was a pretty warm day but beautiful. All the kids including Jamie ready to go. I love how Jamie was wearing a Canada shirt on July 4. LOL

Our little monkeys hiding in the forest.

Our family picture at the falls. Unfortunately we were not able to make it all the way to the falls because there was too much water but we had a great time getting there.

Rylan finding his own path. :)

Friends

I love the these pictures. It has been a real joy getting to know this family. Jamie and Mike served in the same mission and we have been going down to visit them since Rylan was a baby and it has been great to watch our children grow. They have now passed us by having baby number 5 but at least all the kids have someone to play with. All of our kids are within about 6 months of each other which makes it really fun.
This is Stefan and Kaitlyn

Fire Works

We had a wonderful evening spent at our friends the Goldhart's parents home. We had a bbq and played in their beautiful back yard. They had the most amazing trees complete with a hanging swing.

Darien and Ashley playing football.

Rylan and Madison playing in the fort.

After dinner it was time to head to the fireworks. Being so close to the fourth of July there was a lot of fireworks going off every were. We had to wait a little while but it was totally worth it.

This is the picture of their whole family. We had a lot of fun hanging with them

Of course it wouldn't be a celebration without "Shave Ice" and boy was it yummy.

The kids were all really excited to get glow sticks and play with them. Stefan thought it was cool to try and look through it.

The final countdown. When the fire works did finally come which was at about 10:30 they were amazing. They definitely went big. LOL It was a great evening.
