Graduation Day!!!
This is the cutest thing. When you have a group of 5 year olds walking in to the "graduation song" wearing their special hats. Every year they have a graduation ceremony for the kindergarten class. They are all so cute. This is Rylan excepting his certificate from his teacher. He was so excited.
I can't wait to compare pictures of when he graduates from high school. It will be awesome to see his expression on his face that day. LOL I don't know if it can get any better than this.
Rylan has a "special friend" that he loves. This is the girl that he says he will one day marry. She is the cutest thing and obviously he has no issues with her being taller than him. LOL He was adamant that he had to buy her flowers for the end of the school year. He went and got all his money (which included about $3.00, one chuckee cheese coin, a pound, and some other foreign money) and gave it to me so that he could get he some flowers. It was so cute. She gave him a special Lego book. They even sit together on the bus on the way home. So cute.
I love this little boy. He has the best personality and is so out going (sometimes this is a little worrying as he will talk to anyone) but it is also a great thing. He will meet and great with anyone. I am so proud of him and can't wait to see what the future holds for him. He really is the greatest joy.
Out sweet Stefan had to get in on the picture action too. LOL

Field Trip
I love it when I am able to go on field trips with the kids classes and I try to make sure that I go on one with each child each year. I can often be very challenging as we have a few extras lol but it is always so much fun. This is one of the rare times that I remembered my camera. I love the fact that Darien still likes it when I come with him. This time we went to Fort Edmonton. This is one of our favorite places. Right at the beginning they got to do some exploring in a pond and found all kinds of interesting creatures.
We had to sit through some presentations and I thought that it was so cute that Darien sat beside the girl that he likes. Yes, we are at this stage in life and I think that it is kind of cute because it is so innocent still.

School Project
This year Keagan got to do an insect project and he choose to do his on wasps. He was so happy when he found a dead wasp on the bus after school one day. So the challenge was to make the nest. It was a lot of fun but I had no idea that my kids don't like the feeling of paper mache. LOL
We were very happy with the end result and so was his teacher. He had to make a poster and do a five min. speech. I really enjoy doing these kinds of projects with my kids.

Family Picinic
Every summer Jamie's work puts on a family picnic and it is always a ton of fun. This year was no exception. They had these great sumo suits and of course my boys were right in there. It almost fit Darien. LOL
It wasn't even close to fitting Keagan. LOL

Day in The River Valley
This is what we look like when we are heading out for an afternoon of bike riding. That is 5 bikes, one trail-a-bike and one bike trailer in the back of the truck. We were off for the day with drinks and snacks.
It was a great ride. We went into the river valley. It is so nice to have all the kids riding bikes now so that we can all enjoy our time. Rylan was such a trooper because he fell just as we were getting ready to go and got some pretty good scrapes on his knees. He cried for the first 15 min. but then he managed to get under control and we loved the rest of the afternoon.

A Day in the Life of R and S
So what do you do for fun? This is what Rylan and Stefan discovered that the vacuume can be very entertaining. They laughed so hard.
Ryaln loved it that he could hang it from his chin.
